Anne Burrell

Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef and the former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. She's the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network and the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network celebrity with her signature long, blonde hair with a exuberant personality, shares easy methods to master and removes anxiety about restaurant food in her show Secrets of a Restaurant. Chef Burrell also worked at several of the city's most prestigious restaurants, has studied Italian food, its culture and traditions as well as was a contestant on Food Network's Iron Chef America. Growing up in the Upstate region of New York Chef Burrell was infatuated by food. After earning an English and Communications degree at Canisius College in Buffalo NY she pursued her interest in the business of restaurant by enroling in The Culinary Institute of America. The Culinary Institute of America was the place where I experienced the most fun time of my life. I just couldn't get enough enjoyment from it. Following graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) while attending an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. When she was in Italy the chef gained an appreciation and appreciation for Italian food. It had a significant effect on the way she thinks about food. Burrell is an ambassador for the celebrity chef for the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation and is a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board that assists kids with disabilities. In her capacity as an inspirational speaker, she makes trips across the country to share her passion for food as well as her career in the culinary field. Anne, throughout her entire cooking journey, has said that it's an honor to have the opportunity to share her passion for food with other people.
