Both parents were extremely hard-working and she traveled extensively throughout Europe during her childhood. She was then spotted by an agent and was signed. The film that she made her debut was a huge-budget action thriller. For which she was awarded the Best Supporting Actress prize at The British Independent Film Awards. Pride & Prejudice (2005) included Pike as one of the Bennet girls. A brief appearance in Hollywood film was followed by the action-packed film Doom (2005) and the thriller, Fracture (2007), but she made a return to smaller films with her outstanding performance in three films: An Education (2009) and Made in Dagenham (2010) and the lead role alongside Paul Giamatti in Barney's Version (2010).As she continued her stage work in England, Pike appeared in the spy spoof Johnny English Reborn (2011), and inhabited the role as "Andromeda" in the sci-fi epic Wrath of the Titans (2012). She was back in action films featuring a female lead with Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher (2012).
