Gillian MacLaren Jacobs

Gillian MacLaren Jacobs was born on the 19th of October in 1982. She is an American actor. She is most well-known for her performances as Britta Perry in the NBC comedy series Community (2009-2015), Mickey Dobbs on the Netflix romantic comedy series Love (2016-2018), and Atom Eve on the Amazon animated series Invincible (2021). She starred as Mimi-Rose on the fourth season of the HBO comedy-drama series Girls (2012-2017) and has been in films like Life Partners (2014), Hot Tub Time Machine 2 (2015), Don't Think Twice (2016), Brother Nature (2016), Life of the Party (2018), Ibiza (2018), I Used to Go Here (2020) and the Fear Street trilogy (2021). Gillian MacLaren Jacobs was conceived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on October 19, 1982. Martina Magenau Jacobs her mother is an alumni relations manager at Carnegie Mellon University. William F. Jacobs Jr. was an investor banker. Her father was killed in 2013. Her mother raised her in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Her family owned the Erie Brewing Company (not the identical to the later brewery of that name). While growing up, Jacobs attended weekend acting classes at the Pittsburgh Playhouse. She was a regular performer in the Pittsburgh Public Theater. This led to her being cast in Titania's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Mt. Lebanon High School in the year 2000, she relocating to New York City to attend the Juilliard School, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2004.
