Mila Kunis Bio

Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in Chernivtsi in Ukraine on the 14th of August 1983. Kunis moved to Los Angeles with her parents Elvira (her parents) and Mark (her older brother) at seven years old. It was an uneasy beginning for the Kunis family that arrived in their new country with only $250 in their pockets. But Kunis parents each gave up their professional lives to uproot themselves and move to the United States, were determined to create a better life for their children. Mark who was a mechanical engineer, found work as Uber's driver. Elvira had previously taught Physics in Ukraine and ended up owning a pharmacy. Kunis said that she didn't understand American culture when her first visit to the United States. I was not able to grasp the culture. I didn't know the language. The first sentence in my essay for admission to college was like"Imagine being deaf and blind at age 7.' It was a very similar feeling to moving to the States. However, I got over it in a short time." Milena Markovna Kunis was born on August 14, 1983 to Mark Kunis and Elvira in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. Her older brother is also hers. Her mother works as an physics teacher, and her father runs an pharmacy. His father is mechanical engineers by profession. When she was 7 years old, old, her family moved to Los Angeles. Rosewood Elementary School was her first option. At the age of nine, she began lessons in acting. She auditioned for commercials and then made her television debut in 1994 with her first role on Days of Our Lives. In 1998, she was given the role of Jackie Burkhart in the hit sitcom "That  1970s Show". The show received praise for her performance and she was later requested to voice to the character on "Family Guy" in the role of Meg Griffin.
