Kari Matchett Biography

Kari Matchett Kari Matchett, an Canadian actress, is best recognized for her performances in films like 'Apartment Hunting' 'Men with Brooms', and  The Tree of Life. She was born and was raised in Spalding Saskatchewan. After high school, she relocated to Alberta. During her teenage years she began to develop an interest in acting. In order to further her training in acting, she went to the National Theatre School' in Montreal, and then the Moscow Theatre School'. In 1996, she made her television debut as a character in the Canadian show 'The Rez. She appeared in series such as 'Forever Knight "Ready or Not?" and others that in the same year. She also made her film debut in the late 1990s with the film titled "Papertrail" and later appeared in films such as "Men with Brooms" and 'Cypher.' Additionally, she played supporting roles in series such as "A Nero Wolfe Mystery" and "Blue Murder." Even though she was still acting in films throughout the decade of 2000 and beyond, her appearances on screen were not as prominent as her TV appearances. She was also the main actress in 1998's Canadian drama series called 'Power Play. The show ran for two seasons with 26 episodes. The show received both praise from critics and the public at large. In recognition of her part in the series, she was nominated as a Gemini Award nominee. Jude Lyon Matchett was born to her in June 2013. However, she did not disclose the father's name. According to certain sources, the father of her son was her ex-boyfriend. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke was in his mid-1990s, and they began dating. They were finally married in 1998. The wedding was a disaster and the couple broke up in 2006.
