Tauheed Epps also goes by the name 2 Chainz. He is an American rapper. Georgia native, he started his musical career in hip hop through Playaz Circle, which he formed along with a high school friend. The group's debut album, 'Supply & Demand It was not a huge success. Epps later released "Based on a T.R.U." Story', his debut studio album. Debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200, it was a huge success. The album sold 147,000 copies within the first week! Since the release of his album it was impossible to go back. He became famous as one of the most well-known hip-hop artists. He has been shortlisted for six Grammy awards so far, out of which he has won one, for his track 'No Problem'. After his bag containing marijuana and promethazine was discovered inside his luggage on a flight leaving Los Angeles International Airport, he was arrested. But, his experiences with the law haven’t affected his popularity. His fourth and latest studio album 'Pretty Girls Like Trap Music' released in June 2017. "Based on the T.R.U." Story', 2 Chainz' debut studio album, is his first major work and also his most profitable. The album reached the top spot on the US Billboard 200. It also sold 147,000 albums in just a week. It sold 623,000 copies over the course of the year. The album was a hit with songs such as 'No Lie The Birthday Song', 'No Lie and I'm Different. It was also nominated for  the 'Best Rap Album' award at the 55th Grammy Awards. There were mixed reviews. 2 Chainz married Kesha Wade in 2013. The couple has three children, Heaven, Harmony, and Halo. He has a very successful career, but the man is also famous for his mistakes in the legal system. He has been arrested multiple times for drug possession.
