Kristin Landen Davis Bio

Kristin Landen is an American actress from the United States. When she was nine she began to dream of becoming an actor. The opportunity came to her when she was offered a position in a theatre workshop in the film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". She completed her studies at Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts with an BFA in Acting to help her reach her goals. Her acting career started with a role in the show the show 'General Hospital as well as an appearance on the TV series 'Melrose Place. The role she played as Charlotte York Goldenblatt, on HBO's "Sex and the City" was a massive success. Her choice of film roles has not been a hit. Film critics have condemned films such as "Sour Grapes" as well as Deck of Halls' as and 'Couple Retreat and The Adventures of Sharkboy Lavagirl, and Lavagirl 3D'. However, some of these films were box office success stories. The beautiful actress has been involved in foundations that support charitable causes. She also is interested in women's issues. She has volunteered for animal welfare organizations due to her passion for elephants as well as animals in general. Davis was born in Boulder Colorado. Her parents divorced when she was very young. Keith Davis, a University of Colorado Boulder professor who adopted her later. Kristin's family relocated to Columbia, South Carolina when Kristin was a child. She was a student at the 'A.C. Flora High School was her graduation year. She always dreamed of becoming an actor from the time she was just nine years old. In 1987, she graduated with an BFA in Acting at Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts.
